Nominations for week 2 are open! :D

The Wildcard Theme for this week is "CANDY" - anything sweet and colorful goes! :D

I've removed the Non 100x100 theme as a regular. It may pop up as a wildcard one day, but there just aren't enough around to justify keeping it regular. :P

Welcome to stock_awards, a place to honor your favorite stock icon makers by nominating them for weekly awards! :D

The community was recently given to me, bubbly, by the former owners so please bear with me as I attempt to get things in order. We have a new layout (that's still being processed and updated) and you'll shortly be inundated with the pertinent Permanent Mod Posts™.

Nominations will open on SUNDAY, JUNE 1st, so start gathering those icons! :D The categories are as follows:
Best Overall Icon - The icon that you think is the best out of all the icons you have nominated. Only one icon can be nominated here. There can not be more than one icon that you think is the Best Overall Icon.
Best Color - Icon has, in your opinion, an amazing use of color.
Best Cropping - Amazing cropping goes here!
Best Use Of Text - If you cannot read the text (e.g. tiny text) the icon is not eligible for this category. If the icons has both tiny text and text that is readable size, then it is eligible.
Best Textless - Icon has NO text on it, tiny or otherwise.
Breathing - Icon involving an animal or human of some sort (not plants)
Environment - Icon involving plants, water, the sky, landscapes, etc.
Still Life - Icons that involving non-living things. e.g. a cup, chair, house, food, etc.
Black And White Icon - Gray-scale icons ONLY - NO COLOR at all.
Emotional Icon - Anything that evokes and emotion - sad, happy, amusing, angry, etc.
Non 100 x 100 Icon - Any icon that is not 100 x 100 in size
Most Unique - This is for any icon that is out of the ordinary. It may be the graphic used, the type of icon, etc.
Wildcard Choice - This category changes each week. Check the current round to find out what the theme is. If you wish to suggest a theme for the next week, leave a comment to this post (suggestion post coming soon). Announcement of Wildcard Choice will be posted on Sunday, when nominations open.
